The Artful Escape 7″ now available from iam8bit

iam8bit have just opened up orders for a 7″ with two tracks from the music platformer The Artful Escape. The release had previously been used as a promotional item, but is now available to purchase for all.

The release is a black vinyl 7″ and is housed in a regular 7″ jacket with new artwork by Arden Beckwith and design by Ryan Brinkerhoff.

Zelda mariachi arrangement vinyl release coming from Channel 3

Channel 3 Records have opened up vinyl preorders for the Zelda mariachi arrangement album “Hecho En Hyrule” by Mariachi Entertainment System.

The release will be a single 180g 45RPM LP on red, white and green “Mexican Flag” tricolor vinyl. It will be housed in an embossed single-pocket jacket with artwork by Luis Pinto. It will be limited to 500 copies.

It is priced at $30 with 25% of all proceeds being donated to the Hispanic Heritage Foundation. It is scheduled to release in late March, 2022 and it can be preordered via Channel 3 Records here.

Respawned ready with Octopath Traveler piano arrangement vinyl release

Respawned Records are releasing TPR’s piano arrangement of music from Octopath Traveler, Pieces Of Eight, on vinyl.

The release will be a single LP available in two color variants – a “lakeside” blue with white marble variant, and a “liquid crystal” clear with blue swirl variant. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with artwork by Abi Scott.

It is priced at 28$ and is in-hand and expected to begin shipping shortly. It can be preordered from Respawned Records here.

Tsuhikime -A Piece Of Blue Glass Moon- theme song getting a vinyl release

Sacra Music are releasing the theme song from visual novel Tsuhikime -A Piece Of Blue Glass Moon- on vinyl.

The release will be a single black vinyl 12″ EP. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with game art.

Dying Light 2 vinyl soundtrack preorders up via Black Screen Records

Black Screen Records have just opened up preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to the upcoming zombie action survival game Dying Light 2: Stay Human.

The release will be a 180g 2LP available in two color variants – a limited edition with one disc on red and black marble and the other on clear and black marble colored vinyl, and a standard edition on red and black colored vinyl.
It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with spot-varnished game art. A limited number of copies signed by composer Olivier Deriviere is also available.

It is priced at €34 (€38 for the signed version) and is scheduled to release on February 11, 2022. It can be preordered via Black Screen Records here.

iam8bit to release Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion soundtrack on vinyl

iam8bit have just announced that they are releasing the soundtrack to financial crime sim/indie adventure game Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion on vinyl.

The release will be a single LP on “Turnip” off-white colored vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork by Nicole Gustafsson. It will also include a character sticker sheet.

It is priced at $33 and is scheduled to release in Q3 2022. It can be preordered via iam8bit here.

Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion - Front

King’s Chill Vol. 2 now up for vinyl preorder via Qrates

Space Quest Historian’s label Two Guys Records have just launched a vinyl crowdfunding campaign for the second volume in the King’s Chill series of lo-fi/synth arrangements of music from King’s Quest. Vol. 2 is subtitled “to chill is human, to vibe is divine”.

The release will be a single LP on “ivory” yellow and “sky” blue split colored vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with artwork by EpicPotatoFiend.

The campaign will run from now and until December 10, 2021. It is priced at $22 and if successful it is scheduled to release 2-3 months after the campaign ends (although off-the-record that seems like a very optimistic estimate given the current state of vinyl production).

Hospital Records music from Forza Horizon 5 getting vinyl release

Hospital Records have opened up preorders for a vinyl release with drum and bass tracks from their artists featured in the racing game Forza Horizon 5.

The release will be a 3LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with printed inner sleeves with new art.

Highway Blossoms soundtrack up for vinyl preorder via Very Ok Vinyl

Very Ok Vinyl have just opened up preorders for a vinyl soundtrack to the visual novel Highway Blossoms.

The release will be a single LP on “sunset” yellow with orange splatter colored vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with artwork by Adirosa. It will include a 12×12″ insert with art and it will be limited to 300 numbered copies.

It is priced at $35 CAD and it is scheduled to release in January, 2022. It can be preordered via Very Ok Vinyl here.

Black Screen Records have just opened up preorders for a vinyl release of music from the new 2D-goes-3D platformer Demon Turf. The music included will be the “RX album” which is a remix album mixing the full OST in new and different ways by the original composers.

The release will be a single 180g LP on violet colored vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with artwork by Priscilla Bampoh. It will also include two enamel pins and a download card for the full digital soundtrack.
