The release wil be available in two different variants – 180g black and 180g clear vinyl. The album comes with new artwork done by the game’s developer Daniel Mullins. And as an extra bonus the release includes a digital download of the soundtrack as well as a Steam code for the game.

And yes, there’s a vinyl option!
The project is called Hero of Time and is “a musical retelling of the story of Ocarina of Time, including key moments that occur before the game’s beginning and during Link’s concealment for seven years”. It will be an hour-long recording of new musical arrangements recorded live by a 64-person orchestra (the orchestra might grow even larger depending how much backing they can get).
The vinyl option is at the $100 tier and will also come with a digital download of the recording, a CD, and a signed postcard. While the price might seem steep to some, keep in mind that this Kickstarter is also for making this recording happen in the first place.
They do note in the Kickstarter that they’re planning a pre-sale for non-backers if the funding is succesful, so there might be an extra chance to get a vinyl copy then.
The Kickstarter opened today, September 30, and runs until October 31, 2016. If it is succesfully funded rewards are scheduled to go out in March 2017.
If it sounds like something for you, then you can check out the Kickstarter here.

Limited Run Games teased a possible vinyl release for the Saturday Morning RPG soundtrack earlier this year and in late August they properly announced it with a picture of a box of records.
Now they’ve revealed that they will be releasing the soundtrack this Friday (September 16). Additionally, since we know they have the records on hand it seems fair to assume that these will be ready to ship and not up for preorder.
The soundtrack, which is composed by Vince DiCola and Kenny Meriedeth, will be released on blue vinyl (see below).
The soundtrack will be sold exclusively through Limited Run Games’ website. This post will be updated with a store link once it’s up.
UPDATE: Well, the soundtrack sold out so fast that I did not manage to create a link to it in time. For those curious you can still find the store link here.
Also, in addition to what we already knew it appears that the release is limited to 450 hand-numbered copies.
