The Scheme arrangement album available to preorder on vinyl via Limited Run Games

Teased well over a year ago Limited Run Games are now at long last ready with preorders for the arrangement album The Scheme: 21st Century Revival, which is a new take on the soundtrack to PC-88 game The Scheme by its original composer, Yuzo Koshiro.

The release will be a single LP available in two color variants – a gold colored vinyl variant, and a black vinyl variant.
It will be housed in a jacket with new artwork by Ken Sugimori. The gold colored variant will also include a card signed by Yuzo Koshiro.

It is priced at $30 for the black and $50 for the signd gold variant and it is an open preorder available from now and until October 22, 2023. It is scheduled to release 8-9 months after preorders close. It can be preordered via Limited Run Games here.

Crowdfunding campaign for Dungeon Fighter Online music on vinyl is live now

Baum&Partners have launched a crowdfunding campaign on Korean site Tumblbug for a vinyl release with music from Dungeon Fighter Online themed around its in-game band, Harmony.

The release will be a single picture disc LP. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with game art. The set will also include a t-shirt, a mouse pad, four acrylic stands, a sheet music book, and a sticker set.

It is priced at ₩116000 (~$88) and the campaign ends on September 22, 2023 (started on September 8). Rewards are scheduled to start shipping out in late October, 2023. It can be backed via Tumblbug here – although please note that a Korean address or proxy service is required.

iam8bit ready with vinyl preorders for the Bomb Rush Cyberfunk soundtrack

iam8bit are releasing the soundtrack to newly released action platforming game Bomb Rush Cyberfunk on vinyl.

The release will be a 3LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with new artwork by Sem Graham.

Another month, another Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles soundtrack release from Limited Run Games. This time it’s the 1990 Game Boy game Fall Of The Foot Clan getting its tunes released on vinyl.

The release will be a single LP available in a handful of color variants, including a limited edition green “ooze” colored vinyl variant (1000 numbered copies), and a standard black variant. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with game art.

Additional color variants will likely also be available via Ship To Shore PhonoCo., Official Konami Shop and Enjoy The Ride Records eventually.

Curaga Records are releasing a new title in their Video Game LoFi series on vinyl and this time it’s a lofi arrangement of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest getting released.

The release is a single LP on 180g black vinyl. It is housed in a single-pocket holo-foil jacket with artwork by Save Point

The first two Hitman soundtracks can now be preordered on vinyl from Laced Records

Laced Records have opened up preorders for classic stealth action games Hitman: Codename 47 and Hitman 2: Silent Assassin on vinyl. Some of these tracks have previously been released in iam8bit’s Critical Collection set, but these new ones will feature more music from both games than what was featured in that.

Codename 47 will be a 2LP available in two variants – a limited edition black and white split + green and white split variant, as well as a standard black variant.

Silent Assassin will be a 2LP available in two variants – a limited edition black and white split + red and gold split variant, as well as a standard black variant.

Both sets will be housed in a “classified” mailer that has to be opened to get to the gatefold jackets with new artwork by Daniel Weisz.

Music On Vinyl are releasing the soundtrack to the tower defense-ish spin-off entry in the Kingdom series Kingdom Eighties on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP on magenta colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket and printed inner sleeves with game art and will also include a 4-page booklet with liner notes. The set is limited to 500 numbered copies.

miHoYo are releasing a selection of character tracks from their popular RPG Genshin Impact on vinyl as part of a gift box set. The release appears to be a compilation of music from their The Stellar Moments albums and will be titled “The Stellar Moments: Shimmering Spotlight”.

The release will be a single LP on blue colored vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with artwork from the first The Stellar Moments album. It will be housed within a gift box set that also includes a synthetic leather book with sheet music as well as a metal commemorative ticket.

It is priced at 358 RMB (~$53) and is scheduled to release in early November, 2023. It can be preordered via Taobao here.
