You can now order the The Last Of Us soundtrack on vinyl from Mondo’s webstore:
It’s a 4LP box set containing music from the game as well as the Left Behind DLC on black vinyl. It features art from Olly Moss and Jay Shaw and will set you back $75.
Update: First pressing has sold out, but Mondo has opened up for preorders for a second pressing with an estimated release in December.
Update 2: Mondo has stated that they will close preorders on August 7 (or earlier if the planned pressing quantity sells out).
Spacelab9’s delayed and long-awaited Mega Man picture disc can now be purchased through Hot Topic’s website and stores.
If you don’t like picture discs, Hot Topic, or both then you’re in luck as Spacelab9 has promised to release a standard vinyl version on their own site on a later undisclosed date.
Update: While I was writing this the release sold out. It might still be available in-store, though.
Update 2: In a comment on a reddit-post, Spacelab9 said that they hope to be able to ship the standard vinyl versions in late September/early October.
Mondo have just announced in their newsletter that the release date for the upcoming The Last Of Us vinyl soundtrack by Gustavo Santaolalla will be on July 22nd.
Furthermore we got some extra info on the set. It will be a 4LP slipcase on good ol’ black vinyl – no color options. Artwork is done by Olly Moss and Jay Shaw (see pictures below) and the soundtrack will include music from the “Left Behind” DLC. As rumored the price have also been confirmed to be $75.
No word on any limitations, so I’m gonna guess that there will be plenty of these bad boys.
In a Twitter-post today, the long awaited vinyl version to Gustavo Santaolalla’s soundtrack for The Last Of Us was finally shown.
Supposedly a 3LP or 4LP with a price of $75 and should be available for purchase online by the end of July.
A new label dedicated to releasing video game music on physical media called Generation Series have announced that it’s releasing the soundtrack to Street Fighter II Arcade on vinyl and CD.
Generation series appears to be a sublabel to Brave Wave, which is a label run by VGM fans and have previously released alternate versions and “inspired by”-VGM soundtracks on CD and digital.
The release info notes:
The soundtrack release will include new remasters of both CPS-1 and CPS-2 versions of the arcade game, extracted directly from the arcade boards and approved by original composer Yoko Shimomura.
The vinyl will be on translucent red and will feature art prints from Capcom’s archives as well as liner notes from Yoko Shimomura. See the artwork below:
Entertainment Weekly have announced that the infamous game Battletoads will have its official soundtrack by David Wise released on vinyl.
The initial pressing will be limited to 300 copies available exclusively at this years San Diego Comic-Con with exclusive artwork by Nick Gazin (known for doing the artwork to Run The Jewels’ releases) and with light green-in-green vinyl color effect . The whole shabang is being handled by iam8bit, who have said that there will be a release available for the general public later on, which will feature different artwork.

It was teased with a listing on New On Vinyl months back, but now Ghostly International finally listed C418’s Volume Alpha soundtrack from Minecraft.
Not only have the release been confirmed, but there’s also more versions than what was originally reported. There are two colors – black and green translucent – and then there’s two types of covers – a standard and a lenticular one.
The lenticular cover and green vinyl combo has sold out, but all others remain ready to preorder. The release date is set to August 21.
