Banjo Kazooie Re-Jiggyed arrangement now up for vinyl preorder

Respawned Records are releasing the Banjo Kazooie arrangement album Re-Jiggyed – arranged and performed by original composer Grant Kirkhope – on vinyl.

The release will be a single LP available in 5 different color variants – “jiggy” yellow (200 copies), “bird” red (300 copies), “bear” brown (300 copies), “grunty” green (100 copies), and classic black (100 copies).
It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with artwork by Del Northern and will also include an art insert.

It is priced at $40 and it is scheduled to release in Q3 2022. It was available via Respawned Records here, however, it is sold out there as of this post.

Donkey Kong Country ska arrangement album now available from Respawned Records

Respawned Records are releasing the Donkey Kong Country ska arrangement album, Donkey SKAng Country, on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP available in four variants – a grey marble variant, a black and white swirl variant, a black and white pinwheel variant, and a standard black variant.
It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Michael Lee and will include an art insert.

It is priced at $38 and is scheduled to release in Q3 2022. It can be preordered from Respawned Records here or The Holophonics’ Bandcamp here. A second batch of the records will also go up later today at 7PM EST.

Donkey Kong Country 2+3 Recreated and complete box set now available for vinyl preorder

Musique Pour La Danse, who released the Donkey Kong Country arrangement Donkey Kong Country Recreated last year, are now releasing similar albums for Donkey Kong Country 2 and 3.

Donkey Kong Country 2 will be a 2LP on “jungle” green colored vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket

Donkey Kong Country 3 will be a 2LP on “ocean” blue colored vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket.

They will also be sold together in a slipcase box set that can hold all 3 titles.

DKC2 and 3 are priced at €29 each and the box set is €107 (or €78 for the set with only 2 and 3). They are scheduled to release in late May, 2022. They can be preordered on Bandcamp – DKC2 here, DKC3 here, complete box here, and 2+3 box here.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Dawn Of Ragnarök expansion getting a vinyl soundtrack release

Lakeshore Records are releasing the soundtrack to the newly released Dawn Of Ragnarök expansion to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP on gold with yellow splatter colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket within printed inner sleeves with game art.

It is priced at $35 and is scheduled to release in Q4 2022. It can be preordered via Lakeshore Records here.

Square Enix to release Final Fantasy IX double vinyl soundtrack

Square Enix have opened up preorders for a vinyl release with a selection of music from their classic Playstation JRPG Final Fantasy IX.

The release will be a picture disc 2LP. It will be housed in a PVC jacket with a thin cardboard stiffener featuring game art.

It is priced at ¥5500 and is scheduled to release on July 7, 2022. It is available to preorder from the Japanese Square Enix store here (domestic shipping only). It has been confirmed that they will also release on the NA and EU stores later.

Traveler – the Journey 10th anniversary arrangement album – can be backed on vinyl on Bandcamp

Journey-composer Austin Wintory recently released an arrangement album recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra celebrating Journey’s 10th anniversary. Now he has launched a vinyl pressing campaign via Bandcamp to get it released on vinyl – including a bonus track from Flow recorded in the same session.

The release will be a 2LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with artwork by Angela Bermudez.

It is priced at $45 and the campaign runs from now and until April 28, 2022. As of this post the campaign has nearly doubled its initial goal and is scheduled to release in September, 2022. It can be backed via Bandcamp here.

Vinyl soundtrack to Unpacking now up for preorder via Limited Run Games

Limited Run Games are releasing the soundtrack to the zen unboxing puzzle game Unpacking on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with game art.

It is priced at $40 and is an open preorder available from now and until May 1, 2022. It is scheduled to release 5-8 months after preorders close. It can be preordered from Limited Run Games here.

Eastward vinyl soundtrack now up for preorder via iam8bit

iam8bit have opened up preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to indie action RPG Eastward.

The release will be a 2LP on black recycled vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with design by Ryan Brinkerhoff and cover illustration by Laura Bifano.

It will be available in a standard variant and a limited edition that comes with a board game. The limited edition is limited to 3000 copies.

The standard is priced at $40 and the limited at $80 and both are scheduled to release in Q3 2022. The standard can be preordered from iam8bit here and the limited here.

Paradise Killer B-Sides album up for vinyl preorder from Black Screen Records

Black Screen Records have launched preorders for the Paradise B-sides collection “About That…” on vinyl. It features new songs, vocal tracks, instrumentals, remixes and piano covers not featured on the original soundtrack album release.

The release will be a single LP on violet translucent colored vinyl. It will be housed in a regular LP jacket with artwork by José Salot. It will include a lyric sheet insert.

Stumpy Frog Records taking preorders for an Umurangi Generation double vinyl release

Stumpy Frog Records have just launched vinyl preorders for a soundtrack selection of music from post-apocalyptic first-person photo game Umurangi Generation.

The release will be a 2LP available in two color variants – a “concrete” gray and “urban” red colored variant (315 copies), and a red “dusk” variant (185 copies).
It will be housed in a hand-numbered gatefold jacket with artwork by developer Veselekov and YRN. All copies will include a polaroid and a custom face mask.

It is priced at $51 (incl. worldwide shipping) and is scheduled to start shipping in April/May, 2022. It can be preordered via Stumpy Frog Records here.
