Laced Records are taking vinyl preorders for the Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag soundtrack

Laced Records have opened up preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to pirate action adventure game Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. The soundtrack previously had a limited 2LP release for Canadian Record Store Day in 2014.

This new release is the original 2013 soundtrack and not for the upcoming Resynced version of the game. It will be available as both a 2LP and a 5LP. The 5LP set will also include music from the game’s expansion “Freedom Cry”.

The 2LP will be available in two vinyl color variants – an exclusive blue and orange colored vinyl variant, and a standard black vinyl variant. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork by Jeff Langevin.

The 5LP will be available in two vinyl color variants – an exclusive “seven deadly seas” blue marble colored vinyl variant, and a standard black vinyl variant. It will be housed in a slipcase box set with new artwork by Jeff Langevin.

The 2LP is priced at £36 and the 5LP at £100 and both are scheduled to release in January, 2027. They can be preordered from Laced Records here.

Assassin’s Creed piano arrangement album to be released on vinyl by Harmonia Mundi

Harmonia Mundi are releasing the Assassin’s Creed series piano arrangement album “Assassin’s Creed: The Piano Collection” on vinyl in both a single LP and a 2LP variant. The first disc of the 2LP is identical to the single LP.

Both releases will be on black vinyl. They will be housed in a jacket with the game’s logo over a set of piano keys.

It is priced at around €30 for the single LP and €40 for the 2LP. They can both be preordered via Black Screen Records here, although they are available from several other third-party distributors as well.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows vinyl soundtrack up for preorder from Laced Records

Laced Records are taking preorders for the soundtrack to the latest installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise – Assassin’s Creed Shadows – on vinyl.

There will be four different versions available. A 2LP with the game’s score by The Flight, a single LP with music by TEKE::TEKE (titled “Kage no Iro”, a single LP with music by Thunderdrum and Tiggs Da Author (titled “Ukombozi”), and finally a 4LP set with all three aforementioned titles together.

All releases will be available in both a limited edition red with black splatter colored vinyl variant, and a standard black vinyl variant. All standalone releases will be housed within single-pocket jackets, while the 4LP will be housed in a slipcase box set.
They all feature game artwork by Ubisoft, while the TEKE::TEKE LP also has art by Maya Kuroki and the Thunderdrum LP has art by Nathan Sam Long.

The 2LP is priced at £36, the single LPs at £26 each, and the 4LP set at £77. All four are set to release in October, 2025 and can be preordered via Laced Records here.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows lofi arrangement album up for preorder from Lofi Records

Lofi Records have opened up vinyl preorders for the Assassin’s Creed Shadows lofi arrangement album “Lofi Girl x Assassin’s Creed Shadows”.

The release will be a 2LP on red marble colored vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with new artwork.

It is priced at $35 and is an open preorder until April 25, 2025. It is set to release in July, 2025 and can be preordered via Lofi Records’ store here.

Milan Records ready with preorders for Assassin’s Creed Mirage vinyl soundtrack

Milan Records have opened up preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to the latest entry in the long-running Assassin’s Creed franchise, Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

The release will be a 2LP available in two vinyl color variants – a clear vinyl variant, and an “amber” orange translucent colored vinyl variant.
It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art and will include an insert.

It is priced at $40 and is scheduled to release in April, 2024. It can be preordered from Milan Records here and the IGN Store here.

Laced Records ready with preorders for Assassin’s Creed

Laced Records have just opened up preorders for a soundtrack compilation to open world action-adventure series Assassin’s Creed on vinyl for the series’ 15th anniversary. It will feature a selection of music from all 12 mainline games.

The release will be a 5LP box set available in two color variants – a limited edition gold “nugget” colored variant and a standard black variant.
It will be housed in a rigid slipcase box set with game art. The limited edition will also include a slipmat and an art print.

It is priced at £100 for the limited and £90 for the standard and is scheduled to release in January, 2023. The limited edition can be preordered from Laced here and the standard edition here.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Dawn Of Ragnarök expansion getting a vinyl soundtrack release

Lakeshore Records are releasing the soundtrack to the newly released Dawn Of Ragnarök expansion to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP on gold with yellow splatter colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket within printed inner sleeves with game art.

It is priced at $35 and is scheduled to release in Q4 2022. It can be preordered via Lakeshore Records here.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla vinyl soundtracks coming from Lakeshore Records

Lakeshore Records are releasing two soundtrack album’s for the latest entry in the Assassin’s Creed series – Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The first is an album containing the game’s score by Jesper Kyd and Sarah Schachner and the other is an album of original songs made for the game by Einar Selvik titled “The Wave of Giants”.

The original score album will be a 2LP with one record on red with yellow splatter and the other on teal with black smoke colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art.

“The Wave of Giants” will be a single LP on white colored vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with game art.

The score is priced at $25 and is scheduled to release around May 21, 2021 while “The Wave of Giants” is priced at $21 and scheduled to release around May 28, 2021.

Spacelab9 to release “Assassin’s Creed: The Best of Jesper Kyd” picture disc

In a newsletter sent out today Spacelab9 announced that they will be releasing “Assassin’s Creed: The Best of Jesper Kyd” as a picture disc LP.

Jesper Kyd scored Assassin’s Creed 1, 2, Brotherhood and Revelations, and all four titles will be featured on this compilation LP.

It’s unclear if this is one of the vinyl releases that was announced by Sumthing Else Music Works last year. Sumthing Else have previously released records on their own, but it sounds likely that they are collaborating with Spacelab9 for this release.

The release date is currently listed as “TBA soon” and I will update this post as soon as more is announced.
