Syberia: The World Before vinyl soundtrack to be released by Decca

Decca US have announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to the upcoming entry in the Syberia adventure game series – Syberia: The World Before – on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP with one record on brown translucent swirl and the other on blue translucent swirl colored vinyl. They will be housed in a gatefold jacket with concept game art by the game’s late designer Benoît Sokal.

It is priced at $50 and is scheduled to release on March 18, 2022. It can be preordered via Amazon here, but as with most Decca titles it is likely to receive distribution elsewhere as we get closer to the release date.

Arknights anniversary vinyl release available to preorder from Yostar

Yostar Japan are releasing a selection of tracks from the mobile gacha game Arknights in celebration of the game’s second anniversary in Japan.

The release will be a 2LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with game art.

It is priced at ￥5500 and the first press sold out shortly and is scheduled to release in March. However, a second pressing is available to preorder from now and until February 4, 2022 (unless it sells out before that). There’s no ETA on when the second press will begin shipping yet.

Data Discs back with Shadow Dancer vinyl soundtrack

Data Discs have just opened up preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to Sega Genesis action side-scroller Shadow Dancer: The Secret Of Shinobi.

The release will be a single 180g LP cut at 45RPM. It will be available in three color variants – a limited edition teal translucent with white splatter variant, a teal translucent variant, and a classic black variant.
It will be housed in a heavyweight single-pocket laminated jacket with game art. It will also include a lithographic print with archival artwork and an obi strip.

It is priced at £23 and is scheduled to release before February 16, 2022. It can be preordered from Data Discs here.

Yooka-Laylee And The Impossible Lair vinyl soundtrack up via Fangamer

Fangamer have opened up preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to platforming adventure game Yooka-Laylee And The Impossible Lair.

The release is a 2LP on “Yooka” green and “Laylee” purple colored vinyl. It is housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Renato Giacomini.

Second volume of Dead Cells’ soundtrack gets vinyl release from Laced

Laced Records have just launched preorders for a second volume of music from indie rogue-like Dead Cells on vinyl. This includes music from DLCs Rise Of The Giant, The Bad Seed, Fatal Falls, The Queen And The Sea as well as music from its animated trailers.

The release will be a 3LP on green, ochre, and light blue colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Boris Moncel and Michael Donzé.

It is priced at £45 and is scheduled to release in September, 2022. It can be preordered via Laced Records here.

Wayô Records now taking preorders for Ys Origin vinyl soundtrack

Wayô Records have just opened up preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to action JRPG Ys Origin.

The release will be a 2LP on amber marbled colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art. It will also include a 12-page booklet. The first 400 copies sold will also include a shikishi print.

It is priced at €36 (+ tax) and is scheduled to release in March, 2022. It can be preordered via Wayô Records here.

Black Screen Records to release Bämeräng vinyl soundtrack

Black Screen Records have just launched preorders for the soundtrack to boomerang fighting game Bämeräng on vinyl.

The release will a single-sided LP on 140g pink colored vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork by Tim Bürge. It will also include a digital download code for the soundtrack and a Steam code for the game.

Cris Tales vinyl soundtrack can now be preordered from Black Screen Records

Black Screen Records have just opened up preorders for a 2LP vinyl selection of music from the soundtrack to stylish time-bending RPG Cris Tales.

The release will be a 140g 2LP with one record on gold marbled colored vinyl and the other on “curacao” blue translucent colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with artwork by Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK. It will include a download card for the full digital soundtrack.

Valis: The Fantasm Soldier Collection vinyl release up for preorder via Limited Run Games

Limited Run Games have just opened up preorders for a vinyl release with music from the first three games in the action platformer series, Valis.

The release will be a 3LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket featuring game art.

It is priced at $60 and is an open preorder from now and until February 6, 2022. It is scheduled to release 5-8 months after preorders close. It can be preordered via Limited Run Games here.

Chocobo & Chill vinyl campaign from GameChops now live

GameChops have just launched a new campaign for an album in their Chill series and this time it’s the Final Fantasy series getting the treatment on Chocobo & Chill.

The release will be a single LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with artwork by Liz Clayton Fuller.

It is priced at $25 and the campaign runs from now and until February 6, 2022. If successful they are scheduled to begin shipping in June, 2022. The release can be backed via Bandcamp here.
