Cello VGM arrangement album by Tina Guo now up for vinyl preorder via Silva Screen

Silva Screen Records are releasing cellist Tina Guo’s video game music arrangement album “Game On!” from 2017 on vinyl. It features arranged music from The Legend Of Zelda, Final Fantasy VII, Chrono Trigger, World Of Warcraft, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Uncharted, Super Mario Bros., Pokémon, Journey, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Halo, Metal Gear Solid, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and Tetris.

The release will be a 2LP on “polar” white colored vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with art identical to its CD release with design by Paul Marc Mitchell and photography by Viktorija Pashuta.

It is priced at €38 and is scheduled to release in mid-May, 2024. It can be preordered via Silva Screen Records here.

Skyrim lofi arrangement album now up for vinyl preorder via Curaga Records

Curaga Records have opened up vinyl preorders for the lofi arrangement album “Video Game LoFi: Skyrim”.

The release will be a single 180g LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with artwork by Save Point.

It is priced at $28 and is scheduled to release in May, 2023. It can be preordered from Curaga’s Bandcamp here and the Materia Store here.

Video Game Lofi: Winter’s Tale arrangements from various game up for vinyl preorder from Curaga Records now

Curaga Records have launched vinyl preorders for the lofi arrangement album “Video Game LoFi: Winter’s Tale”, which features winter-y lofi versions of music from the following games:
Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong Country 2, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fable, Final Fantasy VII, Genshin Impact, I Am Setsuna, Mario Kart 64, MOTHER, Octopath Traveler, Sonic The Hedgehog 3, Stardew Valley, Super Mario 64, and Undertale.

The release will be a single 180g LP available in two variants – an “Ice” blue variant (300 copies, Curaga Bandcamp exclusive), and a “Snow” white variant (700 copies). It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with artwork by Save Point and layout by Isa Alcántara.

It is priced at $28 and is scheduled to release around November 25, 2022. It can be preordered via Curaga Records’ Bandcamp here.

iam8bit to release a “Best Of” Skyrim LP

iam8bit have announced that they will be releasing an LP with a 10-track selection from the Skyrim soundtrack on vinyl. The release is called “JUN/KUN” which means “Light/Dark” in the game’s dragon language.

For those wondering, the 10 tracks included on this release are also all present on Spacelab9’s Skyrim 4LP box set from earlier this year.

The release will be a single LP on 180g “Forest green” vinyl. It will be housed in a special gatefold jacket with optical illusion artwork by Aled Lewis. The release will be limited to 3000 copies.

It is priced at $40 and is scheduled to release in Q2 2018.

Spacelab9’s Skyrim release is now ready to order

It was originally teased in a newsletter back in April, but now it’s here – Spacelab9 is releasing Jeremy Soule’s acclaimed soundtrack for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on vinyl.

The release will be a box set with 4 LPs on “Dragonborn” silver-grey with black splatter. The records will be housed in a quad-fold jacket inside a thick cardboard slipcase. The final side on disc 4 features an etching of the game’s dragon logo.

If you’re lucky enough to be at New York Comic-Con this weekend (October 5-8, 2017) Spacelab9 will be selling an exclusive “Sweet Roll” variant on orange & white merge colored vinyl.

The release is priced at $80 and is scheduled to start shipping shortly.
