Musique Pour La Danse are releasing Jammin’ Sam Miller’s recreation of the Donkey Kong Country soundtrack on vinyl. You can learn more about the process of recreating the soundtrack in this video from his Youtube channel here.
The release will be a 2LP on yellow colored vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with pixelated banana artwork.
It is priced at €29 and is scheduled to release around June 3, 2021. It can be preordered from Musique Pour La Danse’s Bandcamp here.
Brave Wave have the next two releases in their series of The King Of Fighters soundtracks up for preorder – this time it’s ’94 and ’95 getting the treatment.
Both albums will be single LP releases housed in single-pocket jackets with game art and will come with booklets featuring liner notes and digital download cards.
’94 will come on orange vinyl and ’95 on blue vinyl.
A limited edition bundle featuring both LPs and a poster signed by series director Toyohisa Tanabe. 250 copies of this will be available from Limited Run Games and 50 copies from BigWax.
Both LPs are priced at $28/€25 and are scheduled to release in Q4 2021.

Laced Records have announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to the latest title in the Watch Dogs series – Watch Dogs Legion – on vinyl.
The release will be a 180g 3LP available in two variants – a limited edition red, white and black variant, and a standard black vinyl variant. It will be housed in a triple gatefold jacket with game art.

Fangamer have just announced that they are releasing the soundtrack to the game Noby Noby Boy on vinyl.
The release is a black vinyl 2LP and will be housed in a gatefold jacket featuring new artwork by Keita Takahashi, who also curated the tracklist for the vinyl release.

Black Screen Records have just announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to the visual novel puzzle game Murder By Numbers on vinyl.
The release will be a 180g 2LP with one record on purple and the other on yellow colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket featuring by developer Mediatonic and layout by Dane Baudoin. It will also include a download code for a digital copy of the album as well as a “SCOUT” enamel pin.

Developer Y/CJ/Y Games have launched a crowdfunding campaign via Diggers Factory for a vinyl release of music from their first-person shooter Post Void.
If successful the release will be a 7″ on blue colored vinyl with red splatter. It will be housed in a regular 7″ jacket with game art. It will be limited to 100 copies.
The campaign needs 80 preorders in order to start pressing and will run until around May 9, 2021. It is priced at €23 and is scheduled to release in July, 2021 if the campaign is successful.

Respawned Records have launched preorders for an orchestral arrangement album of music from Donkey Kong 64 titled “Simian Symphony”.
The release will be available in two variants – a “Banana Hoard” yellow swirl colored vinyl variant, and a “Krusha K. Rool” green splatter colored vinyl variant. Both variants will feature an etching on the D-side.
It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new art by GnrtnmArt. It will also include an insert with new artwork.

iam8bit have just announced that they are releasing “Blaseball: Discipline” on vinyl – music made for the browser-based baseball simulation horror game… or so Wikipedia says… I have no idea what that even is.
The release will be a 2LP with one record on blue marbled and the other on red marbled colored vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket featuring artwork by Mark Borgions. It is possible to purchase the record separately or alongside up to 10 trading cards based on the game.

Last year Brave Wave announced that they’re working on releasing the soundtracks to the majority of the games in the The King Of Fighters series and now they are ready with vinyl preorders for The King Of Fighters 2002.
The release will be a 150g 2LP with one record on white and the other on red colored vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with game art and includes a booklet with art and liner notes as well as a digital download card.
They are also offering a limited edition of 300 copies (250 for Limited Run Games and 50 for BigWax) that include an A4 print signed by artist Eisuke Ogura.
It is priced at €36/$40 for the standard and €46/$50 for the limited edition and is scheduled to release in Q4 2021.
