Limited Run Games have announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to the indie game Desert Child on vinyl.
The release will be a 2LP with one record on orange vinyl and the other on blue. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art. The album will be limited to 400 copies.
It is priced at $35 and it’s unclear when exactly it will begin shipping out. It can be preordered from Limited Run Games here.
Brave Wave have just opened up orders for two new game soundtracks. One is for the 1995 Neo Geo game Pulstar and the other is for the new PSVR game Jupiter & Mars.
Pulstar will be a 2LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with never-before released artwork from the game’s development on the outer jacket and original game art on the inner. It will include a booklet with artwork and interviews from people involved with the game. 150 signed copies will be made available (75 for US/Canada distro and 75 for European/ROW distro).
Jupiter & Mars will be a 2LP on black vinyl. It appears to be housed in a gatefold jacket with art by Arkotype. It will also include a booklet with interviews.
Both are priced at $35 and are scheduled to being shipping in early September, 2019.

They’ve been teasing this one for a while, but now it’s available to preorder. Debug Records are releasing the album Mother Fucking Earthbound! on vinyl. The album is by ErichWK (known from Kirby’s Dream Band) and features new arrangements of tracks from the games MOTHER and Earthbound (MOTHER 2).
The release will be a 2LP on blue translucent vinyl with green splatter. It will come in a gatefold jacket with artwork by Maiko on the outer jacket and artwork by Barfchan on the inner. It will be a pressing of 500 copies.

The band The Analog Music Project have opened up vinyl orders for their live instrument arrangement album of the soundtrack to Shinobi III: Return Of The Ninja Master.
The release is a single black vinyl LP. It comes in a regular LP jacket with band photos.

Materia Collective have announced that they will be releasing the Kingdom Hearts arrangement album, Kingdom Heartbeats, on vinyl.
The release will be a single LP on clear vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket, which will be housed in a printed acetate slipcase. It will feature artwork by Leon Tukker and additional layout and design by Rozen. It will be a pressing of 1000 copies.
It is priced at $35 and is scheduled to release in September, 2019. It can be preordered from Bandcamp here.
Limited Run Games have announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to Lumines Remastered on vinyl.
The vinyl release will be a 2LP housed in a gatefold jacket. It will be available in two color variants – one with one record on white and the other on orange colored vinyl, and the other with a record on pink and white swirl and the other on orange marbled colored vinyl.
The white and orange variant will be a standalone vinyl release limited to 1000 copies, while the pink and orange variant will be available in the Deluxe and Ultimate edition sets limited to 3000 and 1000 copies respectively.
The standalone will be $35, the Deluxe set will be $65, and the Ultimate set will be $135. Orders will be opening on April 26, 2019 at 10AM Eastern time via Limited Run Games. EuroArts have announced that they will be releasing a selection of tracks from the orchestral album “Gaming In Symphony” on vinyl. The album will feature music from Uncharted 2, Assassin’s Creed II, Grim Fandango, World Of Warcraft, and the Halo trilogy.
There is also a gaming legacy medley with music from F-Zero, DOOM, Castlevania, Sonic the Hedgehog, Street Fighter II, and Super Mario Bros.
The release will be a 140g black vinyl single LP housed in a regular LP jacket with original cover art.
The price varies a bit depending on the retailer, but is around €20-25. It is scheduled to release on June 14, 2019. It can be preordered on Amazon Germany here and there’s a page for Amazon US here (although it is not available to preorder yet there).

New label Stumpy Frog Records have announced that their debut title will be the soundtrack to horror game The Cat Lady.
The release will be a black vinyl 2LP, which will be housed in a gatefold jacket with artwork by AliceYuric. The release will be limited to 500 copies.
The album is priced at $25 and is scheduled to release in June 2019. It can be preordered from Stumpy Frog Records’ site here.

iam8bit likes Cuphead. They like it so much that they released the full soundtrack on a 4LP box set back in 2017 and later the same year they also did a promotional 7″ for it. Well, today they announced another Cuphead release.
The new release will be a black vinyl 2LP and is said to come in 1930s style packaging. Whether that refers only to the art style or other aspects of the packaging is not clear at this point.
The 2LP wil lfeature a selection of tracks from the original Cuphead soundtrack, but will also include some previously unreleased solo tracks.
It is priced at $30 for early birds through May 1, 2019 – and will then rise to $40, and it is scheduled to release in Q3 2019. It can be preordered from iam8bit’s store here.
