The release will be a 2LP on 180 translucent blue and red vinyl. It comes in a gatefold jacket with new art by David Fernandez Huerta and Nele Wellens. It also includes a download for the digital soundtrack (sent via e-mail on purchase).
The release is priced at $42 and is scheduled to start shipping in Q1 2018.
Earlier this month Gamemusic Records revealed that they would be releasing Paul Anthony Romero’s “The Heroes Piano Sonatas” on vinyl – and now you can order it!
The release contains piano arrangements of music from the Heroes of Might & Magic series and is performed by Romero, who also originally composed the music for the games.
It is a live recording from a concert at Tofifest Film Festival in Poland on October 24, 2015.
The release will be a 2LP on 180g white vinyl and is housed in a gatefold jacket with artwork by Magdalena Katańska. The inside of the gatefold shows a portrait of and liner notes by Romero. The album is limited to 300 copies and the first 50 orders will be signed by Romero.
The Yetee have announced that they will be releasing the Timeline EP on vinyl. The Timeline EP is a collaborative effort between VGM cover band Marshall Art and VGM cover musician Cory Johnson.
The release features prog/post-rock style chiptune and guitar arrangements of tracks from The Legend Of Zelda series, Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, and Undertale.
Followers of the artists might recognize the songs, but it’s worth noting that they have been completely re-recorded for this EP (except for MGLV from Undertale, which have instead been remixed and remastered for this release).
The release will be 45RPM 10″ on black vinyl with multicolor splatter. It comes in a single 10″ jacket and features new art by Drew Wise on the front and photography by Ami Moregore on the back.
Late yesterday iam8bit announced a two new Undertale releases with Materia Collective in celebration of Undertale’s second anniversary and its Japanese release.
The first release will be a repress of the original Undertale soundtrack in a different cover than the original, which released late 2016. It also features new vinyl colors as the new version comes on blue and red in clear colored vinyl.
Preorders for the Japan Edition placed between September 15-22, 2017 will also include a bonus “Annoying Dog Shrine” 7″, which will feature the Dogsong (also released on bonus 7″ with the original) AND new PlayStation 4-exclusive tracks.
The second release will be of the Determination album, which is a heavy metal arrangement of the Undertale OST by RichaadEB and Ace Waters. This will be a 3LP on red, blue, and purple in black colored vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with a glow-in-the-dark Sans face with die-cut eyes.
Artwork for both releases were done by Drew Wise, who also did artwork for iam8bit’s original Undertale soundtrack release.
The Japan Edition is priced at $40, while Determination is priced at $60. Both are scheduled to release in Q1 2018 (more specifically in March according to their Japanese announcement).
A few months back Black Screen Records announced that they would be releasing Inon Zur’s soundtrack to Syberia 3 on vinyl. However, preorders have not been open until today.
The release will be a 2LP on 180g vinyl. It will be housed in a single cover with original game art. It will be available in clear and black vinyl versions.
As a neat bonus the release will have the entire score to Syberia 2 (also by Inon Zur) on side D of the album.
Today Black Screen Records announced that they will be releasing Jesper Kyd’s soundtrack to the game Robinson: The Journey on vinyl.
The release will be a single LP available in two color variants – limited edition opaque white and classic black. It will be housed in a regular record jacket with original artwork by Crytek and additional layout by Dane Baudoin. It also comes with a download code.
Both have been teased for some time, but now they are up for preorder.
The Adventures of Bayou Billy by Konami Kukeiha club will be a 7″ on swamp green marble. It comes with a Japanese-style OBI and an 11″ x 17″ poster with art by Austin James and liner notes by Jeremy Parish. The sleeve features original art by Drew Wise.
The Yetee will have an exclusive variant on clear with “Alligator Blood” red splatter colored vinyl.
The Adventures of Bayou Billy will be the first in a new series of releases titled “Konami Kukeiha Club Museum Series”, which will showcase soundtracks from lesser known games. The next release after Bayou Billy will be the Famicom version of Kid Dracula, so stay tuned for more info on that one later.
The MOTHER 2 soundtrack repress will be the fifth variant available (although the first four was released simultaneously). It comes on “Meteor” yellow with red splatter colored vinyl, but is otherwise identical to its original release.
The Adventures Of Bayou Billy will be priced at $14 and is scheduled to release later this month.
In a listing on Amazon today it was revealed that the Halo Wars 2 Original Game Soundtrack is getting a vinyl release. The soundtrack is composed by Gordy Haab, Brian Trifon, and Brian Lee White.
The release will be a 2LP on red marbled vinyl. The artwork appears to be promotional images for the game.
The release is handled by Sumthing Else Music Works is scheduled to release on September 22, 2017. It is priced at $40 and is available to preorder via Amazon here.
