Axiom Verge 1 & 2 vinyl soundtracks up via Limited run Games

Limited Run Games are releasing the soundtracks to sci-fi metroidvanias Axiom Verge and Axiom Verge 2 on vinyl.

Axiom Verge will be a single LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with new artwork. The tracklist differs from the first Axiom Verge release from 2016.

Axiom Verge 2 will be a 2LP on black vinyl. It will also be housed in a jacket with new artwork.

Axiom Verge is priced at $30 and Axiom Verge 2 at $40. Both are open preorders running from now and until October 31, 2021 and are scheduled to release 5-8 months after preorders close.

Gust are releasing five Atelier 7″ records for series’ 25th anniversary

Developer Gust are releasing five different 7″ records for the Atelier role-playing game series for the 25th anniversary of the series. The games represented are Atelier Marie, Atelier Elie, Atelier Lilie, Atelier Judie and Atelier Violet (or the Salburg and Gramnad series).

All five releases will be 7″ records housed in 7″ jackets with art from their respective game. They will all be 33RPM and feature 4 songs each. They will also all include a download code for digital copies of the tracks.

They are priced at ¥2640 each and will require a proxy service in order to place an order (unless you have a Japanese address available). There are currently no estimate for release date listed.

They can all be preordered via Gust’s store here (you can switch between the different titles in the dropdown and there are also bundle options although there do not appear to be any savings with those).

Samus & Chill vinyl campaign now up from GameChops

GameChops have just launched a vinyl campaign on Bandcamp for their Metroid series lo-fi arrangement album Samus & Chill. The release will feature arrangements of tracks from Metroid, Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion, Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 3, Metroid: Other M and Metroid: Samus Returns.

The release will be a single LP on blue colored vinyl. It will be housed in a regular LP jacket with new artwork.

It is priced at $25 and the campaign runs from now and until October 29, 2021. If the campaign is successful records are scheduled to ship out in March, 2022.

Gamemusic Records releasing Heroes Of Might And Magic III vinyl soundtrack

Gamemusic Records have just announced that they are releasing the soundtrack to classic turn-based strategy game Heroes Of Might And Magic III on vinyl.

The release will be a 180g 2LP available in four color variants – “Necropolis” black vinyl, “Inferno” red vinyl, “Rampart” green vinyl, and “Castle” blue vinyl.
It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Magdalena Katańska. The release will be limited to 1000 copies.

It is priced at €49 and is scheduled to release in Spring, 2022. It can be preordered from Gamemusic Records here.

Mega Man Legends 2 vinyl soundtrack up for preorder via Ship To Shore

Ship To Shore PhonoCo. are releasing the soundtrack to the Mega Man spin-off sequel Mega Man Legends 2 on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP available in two different color variants – a limited edition blue with white splatter variant, and a clear vinyl variant. It will be housed in a jacket featuring new artwork by Mushbuh and will include an insert with liner notes by Jeremy Parish.

It is priced at €40 and is scheduled to release in Q1 2022. It can be preordered from Ship To Shore PhonoCo. here.

The Last Of Us Part II: Covers And Rarities vinyl preorder up via Mondo

Mondo are releasing an EP with the acoustic cover version tracks played in The Last Of Us Part II on vinyl.

The release will be a 45RPM 12″ EP available in two 180g vinyl color variants – a blue-in-clear with red splatter colored variant, and a black vinyl variant.
It will be housed in a regular LP jacket with new artwork by Dani Pendergast.

It is priced at $25 and they are scheduled to ship in November, 2021. Do note that as of this post the first run of the colored variant is sold out, but they have a preorder up for another pressing shipping in March, 2022.

Jettomero vinyl soundtrack up for preorder via Stumpy Frog

Stumpy Frog Records have just opened up preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to clumsy-salvation-by-giant-robot game Jettomero: Hero Of The Universe.

The release will be a 2LP available in two color variants – a galaxy green variant (150 copies), and a “star” black with grey splatter variant (350 copies). It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with in-game photography and design by composer and game creator Gabriel Koenig.
Each release will be hand-numbered and will include an obi strip, an 18-page artbook and a tote bag with additional art by SpiffSnaps.

It is priced at $35 and is scheduled to ship in October, 2021. It can be preordered from Stumpy Frog Records here.

Going Under vinyl soundtrack up for preorder via Black Screen Records

Black Screen Records have just announced that they are releasing the soundtrack to the unpaid internship roguelike Going Under on vinyl.

The release will be a 180g 2LP with one record on pink and the other on blue colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Luiz Mello. It will also include an enamel pin, a sticker sheet and a download card for a digital copy of the soundtrack.

It is priced at €35 and is scheduled to release in January, 2022. It can be preordered from Black Screen Records here.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania vinyl soundtrack preorder up via iam8bit

iam8bit have announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to upcoming remastered collection of the first three Super Monkey Ball games titled Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP available in two variants – a “Monkey Ball” clear and pink split variant (limited to 1000 copies), and a “Banana” yellow variant (with randomly inserted bruised spots).
It will be house in a gatefold jacket with a peel-able banana sticker featuring artwork by Little Friends of Printmaking.

The limited edition is $50, while the standard is $40. Both are scheduled to release in Q2 2022. It can be preordered from iam8bit here.

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker 7″ now up for preorder via Square Enix

Square Enix are releasing a 7″ with music from the upcoming Final Fantasy XIV expansion Endwalker.

The release will be a black vinyl 7″ housed in a 7″ jacket with new artwork by the game’s art team.

It is priced at $28/€29/£25 and is scheduled to release on November 17, 2021. It can be preordered from the Square Enix North American store here, their European store here, and their UK store here.
